What's New for 2022?

Greetings Everyone! I hope all is well as can be in our world. I am excited to announce that I have just become initiated as a Reiki Master earlier this month. It is an exciting time for Karegrounds as the intentional company begins to grow in new ways.

Meet Bailey! She is one of our newest Animal Reiki clients I was blessed to work with virtually. Please read about her journey in the Client Experiences on the website. If you are interested in learning more please reach out to me or check out all of the offerings. My Reiki sessions include continued daily sending of this beautiful energy to all clients with my own daily practice.

Please also RSVP to my Reiki Share on 2/22/22 @ 2:22 pm PDT! It's free! Invite all of your 2 and 4 legged friends. You won't have to turn on your cameras - it's a live webinar!

This is the time of year I like to share some of my practices for the new year. In addition to checking my annual credit reports and scheduling my Doctor check ups I am noticing more changes with our food, hair and body care products that you may want to consider digging a little bit deeper.

Many products seem to be going through what the industry calls "new package design" check to see if your favorite products are also going through the reformulation of ingredients. For example I noticed that my favorite nut brand recently switched to a canola oil which upset my stomach. Lotions, toothpastes, make-up, soaps (laundry, dish, hand) also change ingredients that may no longer agree with your skin and body in its new form. Reading the ingredients is an eye opener and also note the first ingredient, that is the order based on amount in the product for both food and care items. Becoming aware of what you are ingesting is also a form of self care. These past 2 years and also moving forward companies are reorganizing their profit margins and may turn to cutting corners and switching out ingredients without our awareness. See what's true for you.

Finally, Let's talk about water! The first thing I do at the beginning and several times in between is change my shower filter. Our skin is the largest organ and some of us shower for long periods using very hot water. Let's be honest even the cleanest touted water has pollution and chemicals in it. Why not consider adding a water filter to protect your skin from that harshness. You may notice not having to use as much moisturizers etc.

That's what's new so far in 2022!
